Silicon Craft signed MOU for Sandbox Semiconductor and Advanced Electronics (Central)
On February 6, Prof. Apinunt Thanachayanont, Ph.D., Chief Research Officer of Silicon Craft Technology PLC, represented the company in signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and the Campus Tour event under the “Sandbox for Human Capital Development in Semiconductor and Advanced Electronics” project at the Mayfair Ballroom C on the 11th floor of The Berkeley Hotel Pratunam, Bangkok. This project is collaboration between the Office of the National Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation Policy Council, the Thai Cooperative Education Association (TCEA), and private sector organizations in the semiconductor industry cluster.
During the event, there was a presentation on the topic “5 Keys to Unlocking the Country’s Potential in the Semiconductor and Advanced Electronics Industry: The 4th Key – Attracting Foreign Investment.” from The Board of Investment (BOI), The Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), and the Thailand Microelectronics Center (TMEC). Including guidance for students interested in enrolling in the special cooperative education program (Coop+) with the purpose of developing a vital workforce for the semiconductor industry and elevating the industry to global standards in Thailand.
