
On June 4, 2025 Silicon Craft Technology PLC proudly participated in the official launch of the National Semiconductor Training Centers (NSTCs) and the Thai Semiconductor Industry Trade Association (THSIA) at King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB). The ceremony was officiated by Miss Supamas Isarabhakdi, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation of Thailand.
Representing Silicon Craft at the event were Dr. Bodin Kasemset, CEO; Dr. Naiyavudhi Wongkomet, Chairman of the Executive Committee; and Mr. Karn Opasjumruskit, Senior Manager, Corporate Business Strategy.
Established under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, NSTCs and THSIA form a unified national strategy to elevate Thailand’s role in the global semiconductor industry. NSTCs will serve as national training hubs with the goal of developing 80,000 high-skilled professionals by 2030, through hands-on training, academic-industry collaboration, and targeted R&D.
In parallel, THSIA will act as the core trade association, fostering ecosystem-wide collaboration, supporting policy alignment, and attracting international investment. These efforts aim to position Thailand as a key player in the global semiconductor value chain.
At the event, Silicon Craft Technology PLC showcased its RFID microchip innovations, engaging with students, faculty, and government officials to raise awareness and support for the country’s growing semiconductor ecosystem. The company remains dedicated to advancing Thailand’s semiconductor capabilities and contributing to its global competitiveness.
