Applications
Pet Identification
As pet ownership rises worldwide, the demand for secure and efficient pet identification methods has never been greater. Modern pet care systems require accurate, traceable, and long-lasting ways to manage identities, medical records, and ownership data, but traditional approaches often fail to meet these expectations. Advanced RFID pet identification technology, powered by high-performance microchips developed by Silicon Craft, provides permanent, standardized, and universally readable identification that strengthens animal welfare and supports veterinarians, shelters, breeders, and pet owners alike.
SIC7150 is a low-frequency (LF) FDX RFID transponder IC designed specifically for pet identification and companion animal registration. Operating at 134.2 kHz and fully compliant with ISO 11784 and ISO 11785 standards, the chip enables reliable, globally recognized digital identification for dogs, cats, and other household pets. In pet identification systems, RFID microchips are implanted under the animal’s skin.
Each chip carries a unique identification (UID) number that can be read by a compatible scanner and linked to a secure database. This secure digital identity supports essential functions such as owner verification, recovery of lost pets, and access to medical records.
With RFID-based pet identification, veterinarians, shelters, and authorities can ensure accurate and secure identification that strengthens animal welfare, improves administrative efficiency, and enhances responsible pet ownership.

Benefits
For Veterinarians/Shelters
Accurate Pet Identification :
RFID microchips provide reliable, permanent identification, allowing veterinarians and shelters to quickly verify pet identities and prevent mix-ups during treatment or intake.
Streamlined Medical Records :
Unique ID numbers make it easy to link pets to their vaccination history, treatments, and health records, improving workflow and reducing administrative errors.
Efficient Lost-Pet Recovery :
Immediate access to owner information helps shelters reunite lost pets with their families faster, reducing overcrowding and improving overall shelter management.
For Pet Owners
Permanent and Secure Identification :
Unlike collars or tags that can be lost or damaged, RFID microchips provide lifelong identification that stays with the pet.
Faster Recovery of Lost Pets :
In emergencies or when pets go missing, microchips enable quick owner verification through standard scanners used by clinics, shelters, and authorities
Improved Access to Care :
Having a standardized pet ID makes veterinary visits smoother, ensuring accurate medical histories and supporting better long-term care.
