SIC43S1
NFC Sticker with AES-128 for Secured Authentication
DOWNLOAD Datasheet
The SIC43S1 Development Kit is built on Silicon Craft’s SIC43S1 NFC Forum Type 2 Tag IC, featuring 816 bytes of user memory and AES-128–based configurable security. With a robust memory architecture supporting up to 100,000 rewrite cycles and EEPROM data retention of up to 10 years, the kit provides a reliable and scalable platform for secure NFC solutions.
The kit comes in a circular 19 mm NFC/RFID sticker (label) form factor, designed for easy attachment to packaging or product surfaces. Operating at 13.56 MHz and compliant with ISO/IEC 14443 Type A, this durable design ensures reliable NFC performance across a wide range of applications.
Powered by AES-128 cryptography, the SIC43S1 enables NDEF authentication, mutual authentication, and encrypted communication. Dynamic security codes generated from the tag UID and internal timestamp help prevent cloning and replay attacks, while supporting real-time secure NFC interactions without requiring a mobile application. Protected communication and memory access ensure data privacy, making the solution well suited for product authentication and smart packaging applications that require trust and data protection.
