SIC7999

SIC7999 is a fully integrated Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) ASIC using Half-Duplex Multiplexing Advanced Animal electronic tagging transponders. The device in Read-Only mode is fully compliant to the ISO 11784/ 11785 HDX animal RFID data protocol and structure. The IC contains a pre-configured 128-bit R/O memory for generic HDX RFID reader and additional builtin R/W user memory up to 192 bits (6 blocks) for advanced database system. The device is intended for an implementation of advanced feature animal ID tags that allow users to perform read/write operation with companion advanced database readers/writers. The factory UID verifies the chip uniqueness, which prevents the ID from cloning. SIC7999 is a low power CMOS IC and contains an on-chip HV capacitor, on-chip resonant capacitors and on-chip tunable capacitors, which are programmable and can operate as soon as the device powers on. SIC7999 can achieve 15% longer read range comparing to SIC7900X. The device operates with only an external inductor*

SIC9100

The SIC9100 HiRead-R is a single-chip reader ASIC for 13.56- MHz RFID/contactless ISO14443 Type-A standard protocols, including MIFARE classic cards. The HiRead-R provides a hi-speed SPI controller/host interface with a built-in 64-byte FIFO for smooth data transfer. Furthermore, the embedded codec is capable of handling all bit-level coding/encoding, encrypting/decrypting as well as frame-level manipulation for transmission and reception. The chip is well suited for mobile devices due to its low power consumption and low operating voltage from 2.7-3.3 V. The on-chip 3.3V regulators are provided to stabilize the chip’s power, and simultaneously supply the power to the external companion microcontroller up to 80mA.
